If you received a traffic ticket in Florida, choose one of our online or classroom courses. These include:
- 4-Hour Basic Driver Improvement: The 4-Hour Florida Traffic School Course (also known as Basic Driver Improvement-4)
- 8-Hour Basic Driver Improvement: The 8-Hour Florida Traffic School Course (also known as Basic Driver Improvement-8). This course is usually for second offenses.
- 12-Hour Aggressive Driver Improvement: The 12-Hour Florida Traffic School Course is usually known as Aggressive Driver and is ordered by the court.

B. Attend Florida In-Classroom Traffic School
Never registered for in-class Traffic School? No problem, the steps are easy!
Step 1. View classroom locations and course selections.
To reserve your seat for the Florida Driver Improvement Classroom course, view the classroom locations above and select the course you are looking for.
Step 2. Complete the registration form.
When you register for classroom traffic school, you will be asked to enter the following information:
- Name, Email Address, Address, Phone Number
- Date of Birth and Gender
- Driver's License Number, Ticket County, and Citation Number
The citation number is printed on your ticket and is seven characters long. Do NOT include the last digit of the citation number.
If you do not know your citation number, contact the Clerk of Court in the county where you received your traffic ticket.
Step 3. Attend the course.
Arrive early on the day of the course. By State law, late arrivals must reschedule the course. Bring a pen and your identification. Our instructors are certified by the state of Florida to teach our Aggressive Driver and Basic Driver Improvement courses. Many students enjoy the interactive nature of the traffic school classroom.
Step 4. Receive your FL Traffic School certificate.
We will send your certificate within one business day of course completion.
If you like, you may
contact us to select overnight delivery for a nominal fee.
Step 5. Submit your Traffic School certificate to the Clerk of Court.
It is your responsibility to submit your certificate to the Clerk of Court in the county where you received your ticket. Be sure to submit it before your deadline.
If your ticket is related to an accident where you caused bodily injuries and/or property damage, your rates may go up. The 18% discount for attending Traffic School is on the base fine; remember to indicate your intention to take our course when paying your fine.
If you are charged with exceeding the posted speed limit by more than 30 mph, you are not be eligible to take this course, per statute 318.14(9).
